Sometimes things arrive in unexpected places
With no idea of how they come to be
there
But there they are
True, real, looking back at us with utter confidence
Holding themselves in this space and time
I feel myself questioning, "but how?"
Disbelieving... suspecting foul play, cheating
How can this have come to be here, now
with mе?

Maybe I can settle, maybe I can breathe....
maybe I can believe
In magic and the power of things to unfold
beautifully, exactly where they were meant to be

Accept as a gift this unexpected happening
Which subverts expectation into the space where truth lives
Where reality is replete with wonder, joy, magic
magic of presence,
of attention,
in following moment to moment unfolding
folding, twisting, spiralling
arriving in unexpected places
only to depart again, set sail into the seas of the imagination
tossed, blown, carried, gently rocked
floating, sinking, re-surfacing
Discovering a world of possibility, abundance, hope and joy
That we never imagined
living within us.
